| Weight / axles | Euro 6 | Euro 5 / EEV 1 | Euro 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3.5–7.49 t | 15.1 | 18.9 | 22.5 |
| 7.5–11.99 t | 17.7 | 20.5 | 25.0 |
| 12–18 t | 23.8 | 27.5 | 32.8 |
| over 18 t, up to 3 axles | 30.3 | 35.3 | 42.9 |
| over 18 t, 4 axles | 32.4 | 36.3 | 45.4 |
| over 18 t, 5 or more axles | 34.8 | 38.9 | 47.8 |
The 34.8 cents for a 5-axle Euro 6 truck are made of four parts: infrastructure 15.5, air pollution 2.3, noise 1.2 and CO₂ 15.8 cents. Better CO₂ classes (2 to 4) lower the CO₂ part. Since 1 July 2026 stricter EU reference values decide the CO₂ class of trucks over 16 t, so a truck in class 3 last year can now be in class 2 or 1.
