Official NÚSZ tariff valid from 1 January 2026. The published rates are gross and include 27% VAT; divided by 1.27, a J5 Euro VI truck pays HUF 168.80–178.90 per km on motorways and HUF 157.86–167.96 on main roads. At the ECB rate of 2 October 2026 (€1 = HUF 369.18) that is about €0.46–0.48 and €0.43–0.45 per km excl. VAT. The lower air-pollution and noise rate applies on interurban sections, the higher one on suburban sections.
On 1 January 2026 the infrastructure fee rose by 4.3%, in line with inflation. A further increase on main roads planned for 1 March 2026 was cancelled, so the January table is still in force.
Trucks over 7.5 t may not drive from 22:00 the day before a Sunday or public holiday until 22:00 on that day. From 1 July to 31 August the weekend ban starts on Saturday at 15:00.

A 40 t articulated truck with 5 axles is category J5. Euro VI, from 1 January 2026, it pays HUF 214.37–227.20 per km incl. 27% VAT on motorways and expressways and HUF 200.48–213.31 on main roads, depending on whether the section is interurban or suburban. Excl. VAT that is about €0.46–0.48 and €0.43–0.45 per km.
HU-GO goes by axles: J2 for 2 axles, J3 for 3 axles, J4 for 4 axles and J5 for 5 or more axles, which includes a typical 40 t articulated truck.
